Comfort Hotel Sundsvall

The location here is fantastic as it's near a tunnel, the bus station, and all the restaurants in the city center, and we discovered Opus Piano Bar with great drinks just 300 metres away.

Due to several worse ratings I was unsure at the beginning and was surprised very positively in the end. Check in went super fast and easy although the main entrance is currently being rebuilt. We had a simple double room and a single room economy. Both well equipped and very clean. The single room was rather small but for that it only cost 50 euro and included a nice shower, a flat screen and other basic equipment so that we didn't lack anything. The double room 18 square meters was more nicely furnished with a small couch. Compared to our previous hotel in Sweden, we had very comfortable mattresses and pillows in this hotel and also had no problems with noise. The bar is very cozy and invites you for a drink. The fitness center on the ground floor is also very well equipped and even offers a gymnastics room which is perfect for yoga or relaxation. The location is also great and surrounded by several restaurants and bars. We love to walk around the small but charming town and have found restaurants for all tastes (highly recommended and take away randebu sushi bar just a few streets away). We were there in February and it got quite fresh from the wind that blows through the city and there is often snow and ice on the footpaths. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very rich and for everyone there was something. The pancakes were very tasty! Parking places were recommended to us by the hotel next to the casino and were free for us during the weekend.

The sauna is in the changing rooms and was not easy to find. It is small but included in the overnight stay which is not the case in many hotels.

We were given airy and modest rooms with a very nice view, comfy beds, a 150 lockers. It had beautiful location near to the centre of Sundsvall, and the old part of town.

Great location for exploring nearby bars and restaurants, conveniently close to the airport, with a delicious and nutritious breakfast to kickstart the day.

More noises on the north side than the south. Slept well though.

It was clean and I had booked the economy queen room with sea views, everything was good.

We stayed at the hotel only for one night when moving from Stockholm to the slope, but we all loved it - location, comfort, design, etc.

The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold dishes, and the lobby had a cozy atmosphere with comfortable couches and free coffee. the location was great, close to shops and restaurants.

The room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival and the bed linens were stained and full of hair. The bathroom was also outdated and had a strange smell.

this is a very central hotel and good value for money. Good food in the restaurant and free coffee on vend in foyer.

Hotels pool is out of commision.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, possibly the best I've had in Sweden.

The single room is well equipped, but very small. By small, 8x12 feet (2.3x 3.6 metres). Just so you now. Everything works in the room, and they have upgraded the TVs to a good size flat screen.

Enjoy a breakfast with hot options and fresh waffles and stay in a simple, spacious room with 150 lockers, just as advertised in the description.

Very central. Good room and breakfast. Easy walks to everything in the city centre. Well equipped gym.

Had to use two elevators to get to our room.
